Permissions and access rules
The efficient management of access permissions is a core feature of pimcore, especially as pimcore also supports multi-site setups and has integrated multi-client capability by design. Permissions can be set on all content, including assets and objects – even on single object fields and attributes – on user or user-group level.
Especially for product information management purposes, where content is managed and edited (often by 3rd party agencies) in a decentralized way, a sophisticated permission and access system is a necessity.
