Web Analytics & A-B-Testing

Pimcore has a strong marketing and analytics approach. Every view or click on an item, whether page or object, can be tracked and analysed by the deep integration of Google Analytics, Website Optimizer and Webmaster Tools.

You probably don’t know yet, but elements.at, the company that has founded and is now actively supporting the pimcore project, is one of the few Google triple-certified agencies worldwide. This means that elements.at is a Google Certified Partner for Adwords, Analytics and Website Optimizer. That’s probably ;-) also the reason we have started to tightly integrate Google Analytics and the Website Optimizer A/B-testing into pimcore.

Google Analytics

  • An overview is giving you the most important Analytics data, including detailed graphics for all shown metrics. In the data explorer you can analyse any given dimension and metric. The navigation summary provides in-depth information for the users on how the selected page is used during a visit, with all details on previous/next pages, and entrances/exits.

Google Website Optimizer

  • Tests can be created directly in pimcore with a few clicks. Name the experiment and choose both conversion and variation pages by drag-and-drop. You can add more than one variation page to your experiment, and also test versions of one page against another.

Google Webmaster Tools

  • Based on a simple integrated setup and verification process, you can get basic GWT reports directly in the backend interface.
