React Frontend Developer (f/m/x)

RESPONSIBILITIES

As React Frontend Developer at Pimcore you will…

• Develop and maintain frontend components using React and Ant Design framework.

• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2.2 guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to implement design concepts and prototypes using Figma.

• Leverage Node.js for server-side rendering and other backend-related tasks.

• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Work with design systems and contribute to extending them as needed.

• Create and maintain frontend documentation utilizing tools like Storybook.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Information Technology, Computer Science or related of major advantage.

• At least 3 to 5 years experience as react frontend developer implementing frontend functionalities and user interfaces using HTML, CSS and Javascript.

• Extensive experience and expertise in React for building modern, interactive web applications.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Familiarity with Node.js and its ecosystem.

• Optional but an advantage: experience with the ExtJS framework.

• Profound know-how about design patterns, principles & systems for state-of-the-art web applications.

• The ability to work well in a team as well as independently on individual projects and challenges.

• Attention to best practices, quality and detail, and a personal drive to deliver great results.

• Good English skills.

• A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application).

YOU CAN INSPIRE US WITH

• Proven experience working with Ant Design framework.

• Strong understanding of accessibility principles and experience implementing WCAG 2.2 guidelines.

• Proficiency in Figma for translating design concepts into frontend implementations.

• Solid grasp of UX/UI principles and best practices.

• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitHub.

• Previous involvement in design system development and extension.

• Ability to create and maintain frontend documentation using tools like Storybook.

• Working experience with PHP.

• Frontend development experience for products with backend administrative scenarios.

For this position we differentiate Junior, Expert, and Senior maturity levels. For a full-time position with “Expert” seniority level we offer a starting salary of EUR 60,000 gross/year with the potential to earn more, depending on your qualifications and experience.
