APC.stat & PIMCore

Postby gregnelson » Fri Apr 27, 2012 9:48 am

Has anyone been able to get PIMCore working with APC.stat=0?

I am unable to use the PIMcore backend when APC.stat is turned off. It seems just loading the PIMCore Admin will load when APC cache has just been cleared, or turned on. But it stops responding after some time. This is with a shm size of 128-256mb.

It's pretty important to have stat off on production servers. So other than moving my PIMcore sites to another server, has anyone else been able to get this working?

Cheers,
Greg

We are running on apc with the following however we have stat on, there are questions about how much performance is really gained with it off. Primarily if you do not control the includes in the code, as is the case with any off-the-shelf software, then you are probably best to leave it on to avoids these types of problems. We run with stats on and to date do not have any problems, performance is still excellent.

Code: Select all
extension=apc.so

apc.enabled=1
apc.shm_segments=1
apc.shm_size=128M
apc.mmap_file_mask=/dev/shm/apc.XXXXXX
apc.enable_cli=1
